I still feel like garbage, which is a laugh since yesterday morning I thought, "I'm feeling better!" and since that was the second time I felt that way, I figured I really was on the upswing.

You fool.

I made it into work, went out on the floor, and immediately had three shift leads give me the "oof, you look rough" look and pretty much immediately point me home. So I went home after buying some meds. I think the Theraflu cold did manage to knock me out finally. I did not enjoy waking up to feeling like my chest was filled with crud again as I swear yesterday I was down to the dregs but apparently yesterday was just a day filled with lies on my body's part. Wondering if I'm going to have to wander down to urgent care (because weekend) but don't want to because it still feels very much like a cold that just managed to time everything a smidge off so instead of being sick-sick on my days off, I was at the "sleep now, while you can!" stage. Which means I've needed to take the rest of the week off to actually hack up a lung.

I don't enjoy it is what I'm saying. But since I was also very much at the paranoid portion of sick (probably helped along by not being able to sleep pretty much AT ALL yesterday), I'm also pretty damn sure no one's thinking to themselves "faker" at this point. :P
