Remind me that I'd rather not go through another CB preorder direct from them again unless I absolutely fucking have to. Doing the initial preorder was fab and easy. Trying to pay for the goddamn thing took TWO FUCKING HOURS.

Look, at this point I'm used to the company treating the US like redheaded stepchildren. It's not fine but I expect it. Given how checked out they seem by this side of the pond, I've likewise been a little checked out on what's going on with them, but given that the "please pay us" link came from the UK side, I'm assuming my memory of the US warehouse basically being converted to being just that is correct. So why the FUCK would you wait until the end of your business day (in the UK, not the US) to send out the preorder links? After 40 minutes of losing my goddamn mind, I tried emailing them back to ask for help because I couldn't give them my money for love or, well, money. Yeah, I still haven't heard anything at all from them. Imagine the absolute JOY I felt when I got the "hey, Eragon is ready for EVERYONE!" email. Like if I hadn't managed to somehow broker a deal with a devil (professional courtesy?) and gotten one of my 137 attempts to finally work, I'd be so beyond fucking pissed that instead of dealing with the orders in limbo, they were actively courting new orders instead.

Actually, no, I am obviously pissed at this. I loathe when companies do shit like having a launch outside of what would be considered normal hours and then when things go sideways, as they frequently do on launches, too bad, so sad, not normal hours. Well, who chose to do things outside normal fucking hours?
