Materialistic sorrow
This is the headache that never ends... *sighs*
This is short as I'm hoping to be back and LJ whoring later on today. Need sleep. Hoping I'll be freakishly lucky and either have a repeat of the really spiffy dream I had last night OR... finish it. It's not often I wake up from a dream and want to know what happened, damn it.
And now for something completely different.
Cut because it makes you work for it and it means you might wanna know. Or else I'm really fabulous at the grabbing your attention. [not likely]
I've been, uh, saving this [though that sounds wrong] because I didn't want to be all drama queen or have it eclipse a birthday or holiday... and because I'm still in major denial land about it. Finally tracked David [who, for quite a few years, was my bestest guy friend, and sometimes best friend period] down and attempted to hint him out of explaining some of his more cryptic entries on LJ as of late. Without flat out asking, because I've been awful about keeping in touch lately and I can't do what I would have done a year or so ago, which is flat out demand he tell me. I could have, but whereas before he definitely would have told me, now he could clam up. Also, I'd already guessed it wasn't good...
And I was so freakin' right. :/ My Davidy has most likely got the c-word. Which, for those who don't want to think or use his word for it, is cancer.
Yeah. Been sitting on that all week. If it's worrying me, I'd imagine he and miz meg are freaking on some internal level. :/
