62. Thanking God
Because our God is an awesome God, many awesome artists acknowledge Him. He returns the favor by engineering Grammy, VMA and CMA wins for these performers, who then sing His praises -- not so much in their songs as in their acceptance speeches. Wars, floods, diseases? Let Zeus or Ra take care of that boring stuff, because the Lord is too busy scanning CD booklets for mentions of His name.
*giggles herself to death* Between that and the Tickle Me Emo commercial on the way home, my mood has improved greatly.
I thought I mentioned this, but upon further inspection, I realize I was wrong. It's okay, I can admit it. It seems that while I was blinding myself withscience AFI, the store was being robbed. Well, not actually during the concert, but about the time I debated going to work to wish Tracy a happy birthday. Which is a little freaky. Freakier still is that it was another robbery like the last. As in, my, what a big gun you have, and yes, we will escort you to the office, and no, please do not shoot anyone.

I found this out a couple of minutes after getting to work Tuesday night. DanManager says Tracy has a story. A big story. About this time I get a little twitchy, but I figure she just got hit on again by some not as amusing as he thinks he is drunk. Or maybe her big weekend yielded some fantastic results.
Then, as I'm putting my Pepsi in the Coke cooler, I notice there are a couple of closed signs behind register one.
There are two times we close, and only one of them involves signage. So Tracy tells me the story, and I'm marveling at how calm she seems. Dude, I was freaked out the first time I was robbed. I was barely sane for the last robbery.
So they were discussing this again this morning, and I missed a chunk of it, but the gist was that, seriously, Walgreens doesn't give a damn. To which I say, duh. When the video stores have more security than you do, there's a big problem.
I need to shower. I do. I'm just trying to coax my feet into working properly. This could take awhile...
