The plane, the plane

  Well, the planes are flying lower so that must mean it's spring-in-training time around here. That means that it's time for me to pretend to have a green thumb and begin plotting what I would like to plant this year. I've ordered two things thus far, based on the assumption that since this is the second or third year that I've wanted this particular rose, and I don't believe I managed to snag this vine last year so... it's been a year and if I still want you, obviously it was meant to be.



Those two have been ordered. I'm hoping that the rose will be fan-freakin-tastic in terms of purple, since my Bluegirl or whatever it is is decidedly not blue, although it smells fantastic.

I blame mythosidhe because her gardening posts always make me wish I were less of a slacker when it comes to gardening. I always begin with the best intentions but the bugs, heat, and lack of desire to bleed for my plants mean that my thumb tends to remain black or a color very, very close to it.
