Killing time til Cass wakes up OR until PPU opens as I am on a mission. Found the almost perfect Cass polish: Purple to black thermal with silver magnetic. The only thing that would make it absolutely perfect is if the inspiration/name was something more Cass-like, but since the theme is flowers, that's gonna be limited.
If she doesn't wake up soon, I might brave the cross stitch again. I'm getting close to being done. :D I haven't taken pics of the last round of progress, but I've finished everything but the blue flower petals, which I will be doing purple instead. I will probably also go back over some of the words because the printed pattern was wonky and I forked things myself a bit so, y'know... you live, you learn.
And at some point over the last couple of weeks, my second cross stitch kit came in. I went with the penguin one from Caterpillar Cross Stitch and we'll see if maybe I made a mistake. I'll be switching back to my embroidery for awhile because it's Halloween-y and I neeeeeeeed that in my soul but, y'know. PENGUIN.
Anyway. Work continues to do that thing where you take one step forward, three steps back. C's 'replacement' is about to ditch us and she's only worked for a week overnight. o_O T is definitely one foot out the door, though this isn't a surprise. Meanwhile, I'm staring down the busiest weekend since Christmas Eve... alone.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
But it's not my first Easter weekend alone so... eh.
