Nahh-Ato, Berry, and being thirteen
I feel thirteen, or some other rage against adults and their way of thinking-type age. Dunno how or why, but Mumsy brought up the Dixie Chicks and said it as if her tongue would fall out of her mouth for daring to utter the name of the band. Not a fan of country music and not for lack of other people trying. I don't mind certain songs and there are some artists I find myself loving, and try as I might, I will always love Dolly Parton, but usually I try to avoid the country, kay?
But the unending backlash makes them fascinating. Well, that and the media blitz they've got going on surrounding the new album and the single [speaking of which, anyone who finds me screencaps of it will be loved for life. LIFE. Screencaps. Please?]... Annnnnnyway. So I mentioned I happen to like/love their new song. So back and forth we go, considering Mumsy doesn't like listening to them chat. Don't blame her. For the most part, I have to love a band to listen to them yammer on. But she seemed to take it so personally. So I did what all mature daughters do. I said that since they declared him unfit for the position of human being, I found them to be that much more interesting. You know, because he's a twit and vexing and scum and all sorts of other things your average politician generally is. But amplified because he's been doing shitty things for years and he's got no excuse. She agreed on the idiot front but still stuck to the "play it in my car and I'll chuck that disc like a frisbee" school of thought. Again, not all that likely.
Anyway, I'm thinking this means when I trek tohell Monster on 06/06/06 to pick up the new AFI album, I might grab theirs too. Just because.

In case you wondered how the hair is done. Two little braids on each side pulled back and around her ponytail.
She's adorable though I'm not sure why. It's like all the things I don't particularly like in general combine to work against me and for her. She's sneaky.
