Charlotte. I think a big part of this is that she was featured so prominently in my first BSC book and she was as freakishly shy as I was/am/can be, and this continues across space and time. She grows, it's true, but odds are good that if she isn't backed by Becca or possibly Vanessa or Haley, she's going to opt out of making a possible ass of herself. I love how she looks up to Stacey and is pretty smart but isn't terribly obnoxious about it. The Stacey/Charlotte relationship warms my heart even when Stace is in the midst of making a complete spectacle of herself. (It happens.) I think Charlotte/Becca is one of the sweetest friendships in the series as well. Charlotte makes things better. True story.

And tv!Char was adorable.

D30 Biggest 'that wouldn't really happen in real life' moment

I somehow blew my entire morning trying to decide in what order to do the remainder of my holiday shopping. I tried to find mums the clothes she asked for and then I realized I have NO IDEA what she likes. *twitch* Hours lost to that particular task! I'm tempted to go back and just hit order because I'm pretty sure that something is better than nothing in this case, but I want to make my list first.

Gave Widget his Advent calendar last night. It's the Lego one. I know it's a day late, but Mums was ill Dec. 1st and I had my dinner at 4:30 and Widget wasn't around then. Sleep had begun to rot my brain so logical thought was beyond me. He seemed to really like it. "Best one ever!" in fact. I rather liked last year's but hey. I didn't feel like making another one this year, especially when I was pretty sure it'd cost me more to buy the little things than to just buy the Lego one.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a list or three to make, some cake to rustle up, and Ruby Gloom to watch. (how did I never see this earlier? Why're you holding out on me, Canada?!)
