Nail Polish Central
Last night was... odd. Went back to work for a couple of reasons.
a) I figured I'd need something to take my mind off the sad of sending z back home. Woe!
b) I wanted Halloween and the day before off and I didn't want to take a paycut to get it and I only had so many days so... I had to get creative.
Somewhere around 3 or so, the other cashier (the one who is leaving) got super sick to the point that she couldn't really talk all that well. She doesn't drive and while she lives close enough to ride her bike, last night was cold... so J asks if I mind driving her home. After I realize he's serious, I remind him I don't have a license. "But you do know how to drive, right?" Well, yes, but I couldn't tell you the last time I actually drove. Well, now I can. It was this morning at 3-something AM. :P I don't think she appreciated my "quick question, break is on the left, yes?" joke but I got her home safely and back to the store without police escort. Woo! Sooooooo... that was a thing.
Also a thing?
When I went into the office prior to her leaving, I noticed a bag of stuff with my name on it. :D I waited til I got home this morning to open it and inside I found the rest of the WnW Fall 2013 display nail polishes! Apparently before C left, they marked the display (at least the nail polishes) down despite the fact that the display never left the supers, which meant anyone who wasn't at least my height couldn't get anything from said display. I'd snagged two of the polishes already but I hadn't had a chance to buy the rest and now I don't have to because C bought them for me! :D
I'd bought I'm Not Shrimpy (far left) already and convinced her to do the same without even meaning to. I love the name and it's a pretty color to boot! The only polish not pictured is Under Your Spell which I also own but it slipped my mind until I already took the pictures. :P

I'm super excited to try these out but now I've hit that "ohmyglob, what do I do with my nails for Halloween?" panic.
So many choices!
The plus side to all this is that I used the memory card I bought for z's visit which means that after my walk, I'll be more likely to work on the Greatest Story Ever Told... About Last Week, Anyway.
Expect ghosts! The ocean! AG drama! And the Worst Fudge Ever.
Until then, Raquelle will have you know she's still not sure WTF is going on.

I didn't enter because I never got bitten by an idea. :( That coupled with having company (though I'm sure that had I thought of an idea, she would have helped) meant I sat this one out. It still feels weird not having entered though. I might take one for funsies today/tonight if I have time.
Maybe you'll get a wildcard? I really liked the way you lit your photo, especially ice girl's head. How'd you do it?
I wish Target still had their oodles of Little Dead so I could send you one. Technically she's not Clawdeen, she's Little Dead Riding Hood who happens to be a ringer for Clawdeen. ;) Or, you know, at least her stuff.

Maybe I will get a wild card. That would be cool. I thought my pic was better than a couple of the finalists, but I guess I'm biased. :P
The MH doll I'm most coveting at this particular moment isn't available yet. She will also break my no duplicates rule but in this case I actually really don't care because she's so awesome. I will be adding Sweet Screams Draculaura to my collection as soon as I can. Oh yes, I will. :D
