Thor:2 The Dark World

Short story: See it. You'll love it if you're at all interested. Don't think too much (like Thor) and you'll be fine. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll eat popcorn if that's your thing.


Slightly longer: To the guy who came in during the first scene with Loki, you came pretty damn close to dying because you RUINED that entire part. I didn't catch ANYTHING from that scene. I was seriously tempted to go complain to management and that feeling only grew when you kept this shit up each time Loki appeared on screen.



DUDE. SHUT UP.

To the people who, when presented with an almost entirely empty theater and still chose to SIT IN FRONT OF ME, I loathe you, too.

And by Thor, I mean Marvel. Please? I'll be good, just give me another fun filled Loki adventure co-starring his golden retriever blond brother Thor.

Goddammit, Frigga got fridged. Thor, Jane relaxed a lot in this flick, but I'm not really sure she was worth your mother and, as far as you know, your brother. Just sayin'.




I will say that when everyone else in the audience gasped at the big reveal at the end, I was the obnoxious person going, "Um, DUH." Mostly to myself though. Mostly to myself. Because, um... duh. Trickster god dies, you get receipts. *cough*

I will admit that I was relieved to have not spent that last bit of the movie believing in something that never happened. It's so good to be right!





I expected more Sif for some reason, though I imagine that she'll feature prominently in the third movie?




I enjoyed the movie, even with the parts that were essentially lost to me because some people don't understand using their indoor voice. I saw it in 3D because the theater we saw it in charged the same for both, and I... can't think of anything that would require 3D, but the movie itself wasn't headache inducing so that's good. There are a lot of funny parts and at least one or two maybe tearful moments, and some "Good God, Odin is a dick" moments. Also, never let Thor come up with the plan. Seriously. He collects smart people and then he comes up with the plan. Which promptly goes south because the movie didn't want to give me a buddy cop movie starring Thor and Loki, with guest appearances by Darcy. Rude, because I would watch the hell out of that.



Saw the trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past. Cannot decide if this will be awesome or awesomely bad. It looks to have everything including the kitchen sink thrown in. o_O


Oh, and I will never understand people who go to a Marvel movie and leave before the credits finish rolling. Fools!

Overall?
