I've been eying the BBW Halloween stuff warily this year. I have a freebie reward for something $16.50 and under and naturally the thing I wanted before prices were revealed turned out to be...16.95. Sonofabitch.

But yesterday's snail mail finally included a coupon so I caved on the thing that I wanted but holyfuck was it too expensive without a code and me redeeming my mypoints for a gift certificate.

Behold, the beauty:



Went with this Sugared Cherry Crisp body cream as my freebie. A sweet bite of bright cherry delight, crumbled graham cracker & spun vanilla sugar I'm running low on my current body cream and while I do still have a few lotions, this one sounds intriguing. Now to hope it smells as good as it sounds.

Also, that my order doesn't get smushed.

I remember when they had that big haunted house candle holder a couple of years back! Talk about expensive!!

That body cream sounds yummy! Since I've been working from home I haven't gone through my body creams nearly as quickly as I usually do so I haven't been keeping up with B&BW. I'm still not at the point where I'm going out to shop for fun yet, and the only nearby brick & mortar is in a mall so yeah, no thanks.

Yeah, no malls for me either. I might brave Target whenever Halloween is spotted but I also might not. I'm not sure how I feel about the body cream on me. It's not terrible, but I think it's one that should probably wait until it's actually a bit cooler outside as it's awfully sweet and kind of heavy somehow. It does make me want pie, however.

I keep wondering if we're getting a big haunted house this year or if they decided to skip it for the first time. I'm pretty sure they did one last year. *muse* They had two really nifty candle holders (bat snow-globe kinda one is like $70) so maybe they're considering those good enough?

I go to Target pretty regularly and at least my local stores are pretty good about the cleaning and they have a company-wide mask requirement now - they won't let you in without a face covering. I use the self-checkout as well, and since I don't really go to shop I find I can get in and out pretty quickly. Of course, I do try to go at low-traffic times whenever possible :P

Anything that rouses craving of cherry pie is a good thing, IMO :P
