You know what I did NOT miss in doll world when I was mostly out of playline conversation?

The fucking entitlement. JFC. The Rainbow High people are godawful. D: I don't think I've seen so much rude and so little empathy in doll world in awhile (since Bratz, actually, and I honestly think this is 100% worse). Wtf is wrong with these people?

In the midst of a goddamn pandemic, Target workers are putting out dolls with a strict street date. And I don't fault the first few people for seeing if maybe they could buy said doll, btw. You never know and the temptation when something is RIGHT THERE... like fine. I'd probably try, too. But these people flip their absolute shit that something is on the shelf that they cannot buy.

I know people love to act like Target is this nirvana compared to Walmart but dude. They treat their employees like shit to the point they wander into hell and think, "this is so much better." Seriously, my job is hell and it's a step up. Wtf. Point is, times are tough and perhaps Timmy didn't read the box as well as he should and now the doll is on the shelf and the system won't let the doll be sold. It's not that hard to understand, especially since literally every post mentions that it's the system that blocks the sale. That means you can't override it and yes, they absolutely can refuse the sale because that's how recalls work too, you dumb fucks.

And each post is always full of people being such assholes about the employees and I want to scream each time.

I KNOW, RIGHT?!! I swear, I hated a lot of the old Bratz minions and I'm betting none of them turned out to be decent people, but these fucking assholes. I've never seen so many people who can't follow the one simple rule that the group has because that's how the company wants it. And then the entitlement level is through the fucking roof. What kind of an idiot are you that you get upset when you can't buy a doll when you left the house knowing full well there's a goddamn street date? And then no, wah wah, the employee was mean to me. Well, maybe if you didn't look like a psycho taking pictures at the fucking checkout. You went to self-checkout, too, which adds to making you look suspicious. He probably thought she'd try to make off with them. And why did you need pics at the checkout when you took them of the dolls on the shelves? I do not get it.

Did you see the crazy bitch who flipped out on me when I called her a thief a couple days ago? Because she literally said she'd steal the doll by ringing up a different one at the self-checkout and taking Jett instead. Like they wouldn't notice. You fully admit you would steal if given the chance, but somehow I'm wrong for calling you a thief? And she never once said she was joking. Just repeated a few times how she'd do it if her Target ever put dolls out early. I've never seen someone flip that badly when I wasn't even there to reply to anything. I only got the chance to get one final line in before my mod bud closed comments, but at least I made it good.

Bratz minions were awful people, but I blame MH for upping the entitlement ante. I love MH so much, but I still blame them. Then we thankfully got a break from it until RH came out, but yeah, I feel like it is worse.

It took ALL my self control to edit my comment down to not include saying that odds were good he figured she was gonna be a runner and steal the damn thing. The only reason you'd be taking pictures at the checkout is so you can bitch and try to get him fired. If someone asked me if they could take pictures at the check out, you best believe I'd keep my eyes on them and possibly my hands on them since Jett's damn near $60 and she had two.

I did! I didn't see the post until it was already closed but daaaaaaaaaaamn. She got super mad when you pointed out that her plan would be ripping the store off and is, y'know, considered stealing. If you don't want to be called a thief, don't say you'd be a thief. It's not that difficult.

I'm glad I didn't see the comment from the asshat who said they'd have called the employee a POS and went on a tear about it until this morning because I'd have gotten myself FB banned. Why, why are these people so proud of being assholes to retail employees?

Heh, I doubt you'd get banned from the group. The active admin is my friend and she HATES these entitled brats.

I figured based on things you've said about your friend that it was less banned from the group and more FB's weird "you can't say that" about the weirdest things. Had a guy threaten me, straight up threaten me, and it was fine, but I called him stupid and that crossed the line. :P

Your friend must have a high threshhold for pain because the idiots never seem to stop. Someone else is out there saying they'd ring up the twins and then put Jett in the bag instead. Is my Target the only one with an employee by the door who stops people they see being shady or just at random to check receipts?

There's definitely an employee by the self checkouts in my store that would probably notice someone ringing up a doll set and then not buying it. At least the twins are closer in price to Jett, but come the fuck on. It's only a few days until her release. I still think that one Australian chick went way overboard with the Americans are entitled gun-wielding bastards comments a couple weeks ago, but some of these people definitely give that vibe off.

I was at a local Target when the employees got fed up about people and trading cards and were like "fuck this, we're pulling ALL THE STOCK" because people were acting like complete assholes. (They were also stealing the cards, because apparently there are card decks that are high street value or something? IDEK, I just witnessed the employee who made the executive decision and let's just say he was Not Happy.)

Also: I still think everyone should be required to spend a portion of their lives (preferably while younger) in retail hell. Maybe they'd grow some fucking compassion if they had to be on the other side of the whiny entitlement!

Ha! I don't blame them. People are fairly nice about the cards overnight but we had to basically stop getting the Pokemon ones in because they kept getting stolen and then the pandemic kicked all the cards into hell and I never did figure out why. The baseball cards no one ever bought aside from a desperate dude who didn't know what to get some boy child were suddenly popular enough to have dudes calling us asking about them. I don't blame your Target dude for being beyond over it.

I truly might vote for someone who ran on nothing more than a platform of "if you're caught being an entitled douchenozzle, you have to work retail/food & bev (depending on the offense) until you break." It should be something required of everyone at some point and you should have to go back and re-do it as needed.
