Seriously, why isn't someone going to rescue me from this trainwreck already in progress? Tomorrow is the Cass birthday and her birthday present request was Midnight Margaritas. Which meant the blender, the movie (Practical Magic), the booze... you get the idea. Also the drinking of them with her. So tonight I'm supposed to go over there and gift her with her presents and we shall drink!
Except that her husband isn't supposed to be drinking. Okay, more for us, though I don't really know whether I like margaritas but no time like the present to find out, yes?
I email her this morning to ask if I should bring anything else with me. She says just the gifts, me, and y'know, clothes. She's all stocked up on Pepsi, we're good. Huzzah, I don't have to try and smuggle a 2 liter with me! Then I get a "call me" email. So I do.
( It gets messy. )Then I'm told that I'll be sleeping on the couch because the bed was ruined by the last person to stay in the room. (Parents, properly toilet train your children.) And the Pepsi is all Wild Cherry or "not quite flat..ish."
I may not finish the Summer Mini Challenge by virtue of being dead. o_O
