hunh.

*dances* I found discs C & D of A Piano, so I can complete my much belated gift for T. Well, actually, D was the first disc I copied, so that wasn't an issue, but I hate not knowing where my CDs are. Naturally, I spend a lot of time frustrated as I'm the sort who will... Example time.
Let's say I have three CDs, complete with cases. We'll go with AFI, MCR, and Tori as they're short and easy to type. So, I'm in a Tori mood. I'll pop her disc in and a few days later I'll want AFI. Odds are good that by now the Tori case is under a pile of books, magazines, and paper. So I'll put her CD in the AFI case. When it comes time for MCR, Tori will either remain in AFI's case, or she'll be shuffled to MCR land and AFI will go in their proper case. See, the CDs travel. A year later, I'll find Tori in the MCR case and wonder where in the hell I put my MCR disc.

'cause I love all the poison and away with the boys in the band

Of course, now I have about a billion different versions of various Tori songs on my computer. I'm tempted to copy each and every Tori CD I have, take stock of how many versions of various songs crop up, then add the various mixes T and Cass have shared to see the difference. Because I'm that much of a dork.

To soothe the monster beneath my skin, I'm indulging in fluff. We have the entire second season of Desperate Housewives on loan from the library, we have a stack of Sweet Valley Twins books, and music. Once lunch is taken care of, we'll be set.

Huh. It would have been smart to have hit "post entry", eh? Well, it also would have been much better if the solicitor's office hadn't called, I hadn't ducked the call, and found that they wanted to discuss the last super scary freak out robbery. For all I know it'll be the world's shortest conversation. But I could live a thousand lifetimes without having to go over that again. So naturally it's on a nonstop loop in my head. Fun.

I need a nap, I think. I need quite a few things, but a nap is a good start.

Oh oh oh! Perhaps you can help me! I've been looking for ages for the original version of 'Talula', with the 'glitter girl' intro. Way back when Pele first came out I bought it on cassette, and by the time I finally got round to replacing it with a CD, all the available versions had the Tornado mix >_< I prefer the old version, but I haven't been able to find a download of it anywhere...and I'm too cheap to buy a used copy just for that one song (though I came pretty close today).

So...I don't suppose you have it?

I'll hunt up the mixed CDs and see if someone was kind enough to put it on them. If not, we'll bug some people and see if they have it. A mission, yay!

So my hunt did nothing but drive my tori obsession back to the forefront, luckily LJ proves that within seconds someone else can help.
