GOD I hate it when people don't give me ideas for presents. It's one thing if I don't ask you. But when I do and you're given time to think (because I truly understand the deer in headlights moment when initially asked) and then you don't say a friggin' word? Grrr!
I like buying people presents. I like the thrill of the hunt sometimes. But I also like guides so that I don't buy you your third copy of your least favorite season of your favorite show because everyone always buys the first season.
So. If I have your wishlist and it needs to be updated, I'd probably update it if I were you. If I don't have your list and you want to see if I'll buy you an Epiphany present or something (let's be honest, I do not run on time) that's why the good internet gods created comments. Yush.

zallia wanted to see the AG shtuff. Sadly, we seem to have moved to some place where it rains only when I look at a camera and think of using it, so... I have nothing new to share, exactly. Just pictures that I don't think I forced on you before. That counts, right?
This is Jess. Jess is adorable, yush? Please excuse the hair that seems a bit wonky. It's dry and was kind of icky and the shampoo could only do so much. The heat done later seems to have done a little more but that happened after this photo.
Anyway, Jess is wearing Sonali's tunic, shoes, and pants as well as the Atlanta t-shirt.

Jess seems to have adopted Coconut, at least temporarily.
I just like that you can actually make out her eye color here.
Because moss makes everything southern-fried. Or something.
Random things. I bought Jess off ebay. She was nekkid and a decent deal as far as I'm concerned. She came with fried hair (sadly enough) but it's also fairly thick. She's got a scratch under one eye and her nose is scuffed. None of this was mentioned in the auction, by the way. She's adorable in any case and I'm ticked that AG didn't catalog me to death when she was originally available. Since she arrived nekkid, she's taken to creating her own outfits out bits and pieces of others.
This is Lizbeth. I'm not sure if she's actually Felicity's Elizabeth or if she just arrived that way. (Which is to say, she's the official AG Elizabeth doll, but she doesn't seem like book!Elizabeth at all.) I was actually more excited about Jess arriving (they came the same day) but the second I opened Lizbeth's box, I realized why every third little girl out there loves her. She's. So. PRETTY. And yes, I'm aware that I'm saying all of this under one of the least flattering shots of her ever. Pretty blue eyes though...
Lizbeth would like to point out that she should be wearing something on her head. Do not hold her lack of hat against her. I haven't snagged her accessories yet.
This is probably the truest picture in terms of color for her dress. I was a little wary about it before she got here, and I still don't believe there's any chance in Hades a real Elizabeth back in 1774 would have worn a damn thing in these colors... but it makes a loverly princess dress.

Lizbeth's hair is the softest of all the dolls. It's the kind where you realize you just spent half an hour petting a doll's hair without realizing it.
Halloween this year. Sam was Lila Fowler, Ruthie was Book!Elizabeth, HTA was Felicity, Nellie is wearing the black cat costume, Sonali's in the Friendly Witch costume, Jess is going Goddess, Lizbeth is in her pajamas because she was sick (or maybe a ghost), and Kirsten is the drunken sugarplum fairy.
See the cute little white mouse on Nellie's shoulder? It came with the costume. It's adorable! I always forget it's there and then I open the box and coo at the cuteness. The catsuit is a bitch to put on. Sam's too big to wear it and Kirsten told me she'd suffered enough this year, thank you. I was trying to make mini themes (Ruthie and HTA are best friends and went as Elizabeth and Felicity) and since Sam was Lila, Nellie worked out well as a black cat because
a) Lila was pictured at least once wearing a cat costume on a SV Twins cover
b) She's skinny enough to wear the costume without killing us both
c) she links us to Sonali because black cat + witch = Halloween. Yeah, yeah, that's it.
Sonali was so cute in this outfit that she wore it until this weekend. I do wish the witch costume was separate pieces because then it would be completely awesome. The pink sparkle in the background is Nellie's hairbow-clip from her Tea dress.
Jess looked amazing in her costume. So sayeth I and that makes it true.
This is the current set-up for the dolls. The bunk beds came with HTA because I bought the Super Package Deal of Doom way back when. Addy's bed is still half in the box because it makes it easier to move out of the way when I need to get to the dresser behind it.
Sam and Ruthie play dolls. Sam is wearing her play pinafore and Nellie's necklace from her Tea/Spring outfit. (That's mini Felicity in Sam's hand)
Ruthie is wearing Samantha's tea dress and it looks like arse on both of them. She's got Miss Mini AG bear in hand and at her feet is one of the two mini Samanthas that I own. (my brother gave me one the year after the movie was released. It was actually one of the sweeter presents I've ever received.)
Ruthie's purse and the two backpacks I own live under the bed. As does a Xena trading card. Make of that what you will. I have two of the backpacks because the year I bought the Super Deal of Doom, they kept fucking up my order. My mom pretty much had to call them every other day. They didn't include something originally (I don't remember what) and one of the school sets didn't come with everything it was supposed to, so they sent a second. Had it not been a Christmas present, I think Mom would have been a little less grrr argh about the whole affair. That's the top drawer filled with AG stuff.
Timmy and MJ/Evan ponder who is more awesome: Blair or Chuck or the fact that little J is staring right at you from within a picture of a picture... while Nellie and HTA play travel Clue. Coconut is on hand to jump on the board and scatter things when HTA thinks she's losing. Nellie's dressed in Ruthie's Meet outfit and HTA is in the Ruby Ballet outfit. Well. The dress portion, anyway.
HTA is Heather Tiffany Amber. All names I considered for her but did not actually give her because she's none of them. Her lack of a name lead her to be my most easily insane AG doll. All conspiracy theories all the time, really. See that bottle of Coke? That's all these girls have to eat/drink. :p

I forgot to post in my LJ but Tuesday Morning has Karito Kids for $30! I got one of each and the four outfits they had. Wish they had the prettier dresses, though.

Ruthie was my "I went to one of the AG stores and all I got was an outfit and Coconut. It's been 12 years. I want a dolly!" moment. Nellie was "crap! Archive! Must have!" and Sonali's only here for a year. Lizbeth was EZ pay (plus extra outfits! I could lie to myself and say she was only 47 bucks... for three months. I'm very effective at lying to myself) and Jess was snagged when I began to fear that I'd ordered Lizbeth too late and she wasn't coming. Curse you, cult of crack! *shakes fist*
I've got Kit's desk on back order. It's supposed to ship the 11th, but I ordered it right before it hit 'sold out' and I'm not sure it won't be pushed back further. So long as I get it, I'll be happy. Otherwise I'm AG furniture free. I lack the space, though odds are good I'll cave on Felicity's table & chairs and perhaps something of Molly's in the coming year. (Both seem to be up on the archival chopping block.)
