Are you freakin' kidding me?

I'll bite my tongue after this, for the most part, but I'm going to say it here because that's what LJ is for. To say what you probably shouldn't elsewhere.

The Hangout ain't for people who can dish it out but can't take it. Spend five minutes there and you'll figure it out.


The flipside is that for all the freakouts that do occur, most people either move on or learn to get along or utilize the ignore function.


Moving along, guess who finally made it to the theater to see Deathly Hallows part 2, only to have a fucking storm knock the power out and then the theater decided they didn't want to re-start the movie because it would run into the next showing? Oh yeah, that'd be me. I would understand if there'd been more than 9 people in the theater to see the showing we went to, but no. And with the storm just starting, no one was really beating down their doors to show up for the next one. :P

Got a readmission ticket for another showing since I couldn't stay for the next viewing. (Blasted work!) I'm still miffed that I had to rebuy popcorn and drinks, but we did go back today and finish watching.

I did, and I got to see the more Luna-centric half twice and grab a Glee 3-D poster on my way out since it wasn't raining, so it worked out. :)

I actually loved most of it. I adored Snape's redemption (and since I'm not a Snape fangirl, I didn't see that coming) and Neville getting to be awesome just about every time he popped up on screen.

The only thing that felt a bit off (although most of the deaths didn't bug me as much as they should have, so I'm not sure if that's simply the fact that I knew they were coming or if it's a thing with the movie) was Molly finally kicking Bellatrix's ass. Maybe it's one of those scenes where you just build it up in your head?

I really enjoyed this part.
Was mostly bored with the first part.

The thing that I felt most let down by was the end. So they all have kids, but the Potter gang didnt look 18 years older. With the mad make-up skills of today, wouldnt you think they would of done something more.

I wasn't looking forward to the epilogue at all (didn't like it in the book) and yeah. I forget who it was, Emma Watson maybe, made some comment in an interview about it being weird to see herself aged so I expected more than what they did. I understand not wanting to make your last image of the franchise unrecognizable, but dude. They wussed out on things even if wizards do age more slowly than muggles.

But they did leave it so I can pretend that Luna/Neville totally happened.
