You lose an hour, I gain one

Today's Pollyanna Project celebrates the joys of working 3rd shift and the phenomenon known as Spring Forward. Yes. The rest of the world "loses" an hour, but I don't have to stand on my feet for a full eight+ hours and instead get off work an hour early. The entire night might not fly by, but who cares because it's only seven hours, baby!

I spend the entire night pretty much delirious at the thought. This is helped along by the fact that I never get to leave work early in any other circumstance so... yeah. Also, the realization that everyone else is all grumbley about it? Yeah. It makes it that much sweeter.

Because Fall Back is a bitch unless you've got an understanding schedule-maker, let me tell you.

Today I think I will rearrange my miscellaneous books (last time was the BSC section) and... I'm not sure what else, really. Possibly clean a bit more? We'll see. Oh, and my box o' blind bag ponies arrived yesterday. I'm trying to limit myself but I really don't know how long I'll be able to hold out. My willpower has never been very strong in this area.

Oh! And I think I need another icon for my dreamwidth account. I love you, Tori, but I need some variety. However it's too cold to really do anything up here without socks, so I'm going to go play with my books... and ponies.

I didn't even think about people working through the time change. That's awesome! I, on the other hand, was ten minutes late to work. ;P

But it was only ten minutes, not the hour it could've been! And the pony box decision came after the big box o awesome. They were so friggin' cute I caved. Avoiding the mane 6 (I didn't realize how obvious the boxes were packed). Widget might want a couple.
