It's time to kill braincells by killing time. Or something? Anyway. Because it was early and I had little to do that couldn't be immediately shut down if the storm worsened, I stumbled across this:

Yes. She's on a boat. I mean, uh, she gets a boat. I don't really get it, other than her father is a shipbuilder and she's got a nautical theme, but yes. Boat. If you're so inclined, that is. Also? I love how they mimicked water for this. It's just prettier the more you look at it.

And a parlor. Essentially she gets a room. A room with no furniture, but she gets a room! A room I have furniture for already!
*flails and dies* It's going to be so expensive and I will be powerless to resist. *weeps*

They have got to do something about that hair. The more I look at it, the worse it appears. And the doll looks nothing like the character. Now, granted, I haven't been into AG since it was owned by the Pleasant Company, but when, exactly, did they give up at least the pretense of trying?

*thinks* You know, one day I'm going to have to sit down and have a "doll vs book" thing to see when exactly they did give up. Because the last few releases, historical or otherwise, have barely even tried.

There's something about this wig, in any color, that makes it difficult for AG to photograph. It's worse on the redheads, if that even seemed possible.

I know! I fully expected it to be one of those things where the product they use to keep it neat for stock photos and overzealous 'shopping had just created an unfortunate look. Apparently not.
