impy: Lorelai Gilmore making her forks fight with the text 'Take That!' (crazy)

Thinking, thinking...

This coming weekend, Cass is going to Atlanta to visit Ari... and to hit the AG store since she'll be in the neighborhood. I can't go because work switched to PTO and you have to accrue hours and it takes for-freakin-ever to do so.

I'm trying to decide if I should be sending money and a shopping list or waiting for free shipping instead. This would be easier if I could remember what the store exclusives were and if they'd added anything new since the trip back in October with [livejournal.com profile] zallia.

I could ask on Playthings, I suppose, but I've had iffy luck getting information from them when I ask specifically. Sometimes people are rather helpful. And sometimes they throw the FAQ link at you like it's got the answer to everything under the sun and snit that maybe you should already know everything. Sigh.

I'm in an off sort of mood because I woke up from a nightmare involving a school and Russians and a body count. Not fun. :(

I would send money and a list. You don't know when they'll offer free shipping again, and this way you'll get your goodies sooner. :)

Rumors abound that free shipping has landed! Apparently if you call (not a store, but the catalog number) and ask, if you spend over $100, free shipping.

Now to see if an online code appears. Because the joys of not having a store in SC also include no sales tax. Which can add up just as quickly as shipping in some cases.

Still, there's the lure of instantish gratification...

Woo! I'm going to call them tonight and see about ordering Cecile. I decided to skip her accessories (I'd never use the hat anyway) and get the poofy undergarments instead since the price is the same. Plus I can get her mystery book instead of her meet book, so that makes me pretty happy. I'm just bummed so many of her outfits got canned. I really don't want to ebay them. :(

Oo! Ooh!

I know how you feel on Cecile's accessories. The only thing I really want is her necklace. The hat is nice but would rarely get worn, and in the books she's forever leaving her gloves at home anyway.

The good news, if you do brave the bay of E, is that since there were so many sales for the NOLA girls and they really weren't out for long, that a good chunk of their stuff is still pretty much mint in box, so there's less worry of getting a dud.
