Ari's family has set up a bowling party for her Saturday. Which is when Widget was supposed to clean their yard but they've yet to meet a plan they won't change. Anyway, I don't bowl. I'm broke and I don't like crowds.
How awful am I for not wanting to go?
Do I go anyway?
It's at 2pm which is like me throwing a party at 1am for people who get up at 7am. Doable but just barely... and work is going to be slammed due to all the tourists and it being the start of new ads. Prior to the incident, I wouldn't have gone.
Tell me what to do.

I think it would depend on how many people are supposed to be there. If it's a significant amount and you feel like you're not going to be able to get or give any attention, I'd just bail with whatever excuse. If it's like 5 or less, I'd make the effort to go. Just from the stories of her family and stuff though, I'm guessing some drama or something will take priority anyways, so they'll be distracted anyways?

Seriously, tho, if you don't want to go, I wouldn't push it. You have a ready-made excuse in it clashing with your work schedule. Are you sure this is a firm plan yet? Because honestly, you might as well just wait and see how you feel on Saturday. You might be knackered or you might be up for it.
