Mums and I tried the pumpkin spice Grands rolls. They weren't bad but they aren't something I think either of us will go out of our way to buy again. There's a weird aftertaste going on with them. But they weren't awful like I was worried they would be.
Tomorrow I break out the slow cooker and the BBQ sauce. MUHAHA... and of course it's set to be fairly warm. Of course it is.
Continuing the food theme, we finally found Utz White Cheddar Popcorn. I haven't seen it in any stores in months. Now if only the Teeter would get my Worcestershire sauce in, things could be complete.
I had something I was going to blather on about for awhile but I have since forgotten it.
New Wellie stuff up on the site (an elf costume among other things) and there's a coupon that gets you $10 off $50. SAVE3F New stuff in the clearance/sales section (Sam stuff and Addy stuff) and I haven't any money so I'm not looking beyond that. Oh, and a new simple blue PWP that I really like. Woe.
Which brings me to yet another chapter in my PBS book saga. Once more the Addy short story collection showed up in the system. Once more I forked over my credit to get it. I swear I looked at the person after I accepted it and I swear it was someone else entirely, but this morning I get the dreaded "I'm sorry, I just mailed 26 books and ran out of postage funds right now. I will repost when I am able to send the book again." excuse again. And sure enough, when I looked at my transaction archive it was that stupid Angela B again. So I contacted PBS AGAIN about her and this time I sent her a PM telling her this is the sixth goddamn time she's done this to me, so she can consider her ass reported.
Of course I reported her before and it didn't do any good so really, wtf.
I should probably actually check my bookcase to see if I still even need that book.

Date: 2017-10-05 10:23 pm (UTC)"I'm sorry you haven't received this book yet. We are on a budget and love using PBS, but need to make it work with limited funds. We just don't have unlimited funds to mail books. Though we would love to get rid of all the books that we have, it isn't feasible for us to spend more than we have in doing so. I mail the bulk orders I get first, to get more books out. Then I mail as many others as I can. This time I mailed out 26 books and spent $60. I put my PBS account on hold inbetween mailings, so that I don't get orders when I don't have funds. However, this also means that I get a ton of orders when I turn it off. I don't know how much other people would spend on something like this, but for us that is quite a lot of money and used all the funds we had available for it. I understand that it would be frustrating and I hope you get your book soon, but I don't think that I am breaking any rules and know that I don't have any rude intent to you or anybody else in PBS. Hopefully in the future I can accept your book request and mail it out to you... or you get it from somebody else even sooner!"
Lady, if anyone else in the system had this book, I'd have this book by now. :p Also, I did not sign up for a sob story so still reported.
