I still have the final song from Arcane stuck in my head. Which is better than it switching off with Love Shack but still. I imagine once I poke the AG board that'll fire up and it'll be the usual case of dueling songs in my poor brain.

Finished my rewatch yesterday. Answered a few of my own questions, noticed things I didn't notice before, and overall enjoyed it just as much the second (or third for the first ep) go round.

I'll be damned though, apparently yesterday's fan managed to spawn into a second fan for the same character. If not for the better grasp of the language, I'd be tempted to think sock but no. Alas, this means they'll be tag-teaming everything and my general thought of "aww, --- finally found a fan" is going to quickly be replaced with "UGH. You again."

So. Marcus is still the absolute worst, and is actually even worse the second go round because you have time to breathe and look around to see what he's actually up to when you're not racing through the story at breakneck speed. He makes the worst choices at every turn and if I have to hear each of these choices justified by his very, very vocal fan duo (trio? I think they converted another) because he's "the most human" of all the characters, I will roll my eyes out of my skull. He got himself into the mess by choosing to go around Grayson and deal with Silco. When that blew up in his face, he still had numerous chances before his kid was born to do the right thing and never did them. He doesn't give a shit about the undercity (the way he's worked up over catching the kids in the first few episodes proves this. He knows they're kids and he still can't wait to throw them in jail without even getting their side of things. Even when it's obvious that Jayce was just fucking lucky he hadn't blown his building sky high), he sells Piltover out each time he deals with Silco... You are the wooooooooooooorst, my dude.

And yet the parallel between him and Silco is sitting right there, begging someone to run with it.

Apparently the boy and his gf definitely broke up and she kicked him out. Annnnnd he'll be crashing here for a couple of nights. I dislike people invading my space. I don't feel particularly great but I also do not relish the thought of trying to do anything while he's crashed on the couch. Which is less than a foot away from me right now.


Also, this means I will be pausing my attempt at watching The Golden Palace. Which isn't exactly a great loss at this point, because I'm maybe three/four episodes in and it's basically something I'm watching for the Golden trio and Don Cheadle. But my soul dies each time the credits start because my god, that version of the song is just so, so, SO bad.
