I should be asleep right now but someone *eyes the cat* woke me up from my planned sleep and now I'm still awake. Boo.

Anyway, let's bore myself to sleep again before work, shall we?

Over the weekend we had the CB Cuddle Time and the look at the exclusives. I haven't re-upped my member(bear)ship yet, but that's because someone (me) forgot that I had to switch the cat's insurance from one card to another and yeah. It's not like the clock is ticking this week, so I'm waiting til this weekend so I can properly plot.


I wasn't super in love with most of the exclusives but here are the two I'm most intrigued by. There's Birthday Cake, the bear, and Festoon, the dragon. BC I'm more fence-sitting on because while cute, I'm not 100% in love though I think that's because I don't love the stripes on the bow for this bear. Festoon, however, will be mine. MINE. Chimney needs a friend. Mums thinks perhaps a girlfriend. We shall find out.

What else, what else. Oh! Fixed my butterfly wreath yesterday. Should probably hang it up tonight but I'm not wanting to get up just yet.

I haven't renewed yet either and didn't bother to watch the show. No point really when they always air when I'm at work and there are pictures and info all over the group before I even clock out.

The only one I'm interested in is Festoon and she doesn't come out til next year, so I'm not in a huge hurry. I have it written on my budget for this week, but I may postpone it. I'm honestly not even that into Festoon. She'd be my least favorite of all the dragons if I got her, though I will try. She keeps growing on me, but she's no Embers or Chimney or Grumbleweed or Lantern, that's for sure.

I love that your list of "she's no __ " is so long. The perk of only having one dragon is there's less to live up to. I like how she looks a little bossy, though obviously there's no guarantee I'll either get her or get one that does have that same attitude.


I only caught the show by accident as I woke up right as it started since the cat decided to use me as a trampoline. While I luck out in not being at work for most of the shows, watching them usually involves much in the way of sleep sacrifice, so I get it.

I figure I'll re-up either this paycheck or next so I can register my interest all official like.

I like how they did her bright pink and she reminds me of a lighter Snapdragon, which is nice because I sold mine, but yeah, she's still pink. And I hate the harder to get aspect of the dragons lately. Just put them in the damn regular collection. You know people want them. Scorch was Secret, Chimney and now her are BFC, and Embers was Cuddle Time. I desperately wanted those ones so I'm relieved to not feel that for her. To be completely honest, I'm a little tired of all the dragons looking the same, too. They could vary up so many things, but they just keep using the same pattern. Give me a new wing shape, fewer fingers or more fingers, a different tail, fewer horns, and a new face shape! Something new beyond the color.

I don't get why they don't just assume the dragons are going to be stupidly popular and go forth and print their money.

The sameness is part of why I didn't wind up trying to go for Embers (I say like money didn't also play a part :P ) and I'd love for them to try something else. Though I guess maybe that's where the hatchlings come into play? They're definitely different.
