where has my heart gone?
Jun. 2nd, 2003 04:09 amOne should never spend too much time thinking about the exes in one's life. particularly those that left a giant gaping scar. Woo. Still, sometimes one can't help but wonder where are they now... and then you remember. :p One day I'm going to turn one of them into a story and see if he comes out of the woodwork long enough to sue me. Doubtful.

What does one do when a friend is talking of marriage to a guy who's a big enough ass to try and kill their beloved pet and has killed another animal for shits and giggles [essentially]? turtle. Do you try and talk them out of this foolishness, or do you realize that you might as well just paint a giant "marry him, bitch!" sign on his skeletal frame? when you get the sinking feeling that your brother correctly identified him as the guy most likely to be seen on the news in 5 years for having gone off the deep end and killed some people and will be described not as "he was always such a nice boy" but rather "he was always very quiet. took him long enough to crack, didn't it?" What do you do when the same friend also hints quite heavily that you might just get to be a glorified aunt again all too soon? [as in not by blood, but friends so close that you might as well be]
you scream. and you get a weird montage of memories crashing over you.
