she's mad, I tell you. mad!
Jan. 4th, 2004 01:42 amIt has come to my attention that I have shaken someone's world. *woe* That sounds wrong, so feel free to laugh at me. ;)
Today's my father's birthday. We're somehow super-broke though no one knows how exactly it happened, but there was a chocolate cake. That was kinda.. ick. But tasty enough if you had the frosting and icecream on the cake and took a bite of it all at the same time. Woo.
Hmm. New Year's was fun. There were firworks and a lot of little smoke rings that grew to be huge, so I kept thinking of the ring fans I know. Well, until someone managed to nearly set a tree on fire and the street light went off right as one of the fireworks went off near it... Coinky dink? You decide. Watched Happy Tree Friends and am now scarred for life. Seriously, man. Fucked up. Watched part of Resident Evil, oohed and ahhhed over Eric Mabius, and marveled at how it was pretty much exactly like playing a video game, if you were watching someone else play one anyway. Saw Anger Management. Laughed. Did the dorky, "on Charmed!" for Krista Allen. Good times.
Ari came over yesterday and we played the last twenty years version of Trivial Pursuit. God do I suck at that game. :p But I got the easiest entertainment [or whatever they're calling it now] question for zee little pie piece. It was the hellmouth [buffy!] question. Heh. Heh. heh. Pissed mumsy off [she played too]. But ha! I needed that. And just to be completely fair, her literature question was a Harry Potter one. :p Quaffle!
Annnnnnnd this pretty much sums up, wait. No. Got bitched at by an Allison who works at TWI [I think those are the letters. some magazine billing place.. thing] because my brother somehow managed to zap my bank account into the negative numbers. Argh. Still, summoned the wrath of God voice and voila. Instant full credit back to my account in 7-10 business days. Oh joy for the "instant", eh? :p If the boy really did sign up for something the 22, and they zapped my account the 23rd, you'd think they could return the cash as fast. But the world is a funny, funny place.
Now. Go to the prophecy and vote for people in the RPG awards. I personally knowingly endorse Jake and I do believe Frazaliscious was up too.
