this is cooling...

How do you finish off a birthday that involved Mother Nature throwing one hell of a temper tantrum [woo, power on, power off. power on, power off. wax on, wax off], people telling you shit other people said about you that could/would/should hurt your feelings [on the other hand, I made both people tell me.], not getting to see your movie or go get a drink [and after most of this crap happened or didn't happen, I seriously considered spending a rather large part of my paycheck in the liquor store. Luckily I remembered that I don't really like alcohol.]?

You happily accept a really spiffy present from your best friend, try to ignore the comment she may or may not have made about you, shove the guilt aside, go inside, have a cherry flavor-ice popsicle, happily scuttle upstairs to take your skanky dolllove out of her box, and then promptly get a giant case of the guilts when the dude who may or may not be your boyfriend [confuzzled I am, hence the problem] frickin' makes you cry.

Damn it. I don't particularly like having a laundry list of my faults handed to me, but I like it even less on my birthday. Next year I'm hiring new actors to play these parts.

But on the good side, I feel the love from you guys. *cuddle*

The day didn't suck completely, although it often felt like it. Details pending, because I'm not really in the mood to rehash things, particularly the end of the birthday. Besides, if you wait, you'll get the Lindsay love from me [I hope], and more stuff on birthday-take 2.
