there's a lying in your silence
Oct. 5th, 2004 06:32 amOdd. Of all the cats, I really didn't except Belle to seem to miss Dusty the most. But when we had our little kitty funeral for him, Belle sat in my parents room and stared out the window at us. She's also been an affection whore towards mom, which is unusual since she's not using the affection whoring to later turn around and rip Mom to shreds. Belle, being nice. Who knew?
New girl at work. Why do they bother putting people on the night shift who don't want to be there? No. Really. If it's just for training her, that I can understand. But if it's to replace Rose, it won't work. She doesn't like running the register, but doesn't want to work 12-8. I can honestly say there's no fucking way, nice as she might be, that I am always going to work 12-8 just so precious there doesn't have to wait around for someone to get their ass to work on time at 8. No. Way.
sigh. Grouchy, sleepy, bored, and not in the slightest bit actually tired. tiggy says "fleas!"
Now. Because I'm demanding.
Reply, email, use your advanced telepathy, send smoke signals, do something and suggest three books and three movies you think I should read/see. Preferably good ones, people. Reasons are nice, but not necessary.
