babble fish
Oct. 28th, 2004 10:26 amOkay. I have another headache. It's weird. I was fine, better than fine, until I took my break at 4. When I came back, I had this freakish headache. Now I feel rather sick. :/ Of course it's trash day so loudness.
Finished Trace. Gotta say it didn't suck, but it was... filler-y. I'm not sure whether I like that it ( on the off chance someone else reads and loves 'em as I do, we cut )
Now I'm reading Sugar Cookie Murder- Joanne Fluke. Dangerous to read if you're not eating something. Hannah books are filled with recipes and damn if they don't usually turn out delicious. I also like that sometimes I know who the killer is way before the end [but other things, like why, tend to escape me then] and sometimes it's a complete surprise, and yet... even if I see it coming a mile away, the book is still somehow good. Usually for mysteries of the murder persuasion, that's the kiss of death. If you know whodunnit, the book tends to suck. Not so for these. I think liking the characters goes a long way, and the way they're written is spiffy.

twct! Yay!
And on that topic, I've decided that unless I find a hell of a bargain on Panda [it's possible, though not likely], I'm getting Princi next. If Alice freaked you out at all, dude... do not look when/if I get Princi in my little paws.
But! Yesterday Mumsy went out shopping [bought a new stove/oven, so we can make cookies again! yay!] and went back to Hocus Pocus and they had good devil horns and she snagged me the twisted Alice in Wonderland poster which I'll take pictures of and blather on about tomorrow. It's spooky though, so I'm not sure if I'll hang it up, give it to Alice, or wonder in a week or so if I was on crack when I said, "ooooh, shiny. I want, if it's free."
