HP & The Apathy of Me
Nov. 19th, 2004 12:14 pmYou ever have one of those nights that's going along so well and then out of nowhere, bam. You are hit by the sluggish bug? Yeah. I did last night. Awful.
Also, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban? Quite possibly the most boring cover art, ever. It doesn't pop, it doesn't draw the eye, there's nothing that says buy me except the fact that if the light hits the plastic right, it could possibly blind you. I should know. I pawed all over that thing trying to find one teeny tiny thing about it that said, "BUY ME!" without reading the extras listed on the back. You know what? Nothing. I was more impressed with the cover art for Spiderman 2 [which is a movie that I will never buy for myself] and The Terminal [which I want to see and the cover is actually very plain, yet manages to catch your eye]. A Tom Hanks movie had a better cover than Harry. That ain't right. It just ain't right.
I'm off to window shop for Heidi luv. See, that girl knows how to take a very easy hint. Not everyone does. Woe.
ETA: So. Found Heidi's w-list, finally. Kicking myself here, since I've begun the search for what she's asked for. Thus far one grouping is a possibility [have to check shipping and stuff, no sense in planning on something I can't actually afford], and the doll, well... We shall see on that. Yes. Trying though. C'mon, ebay. Give us something good soooooon.
