So, after meeting the new guy and talking with Kira [whom I rather I like, and not just because there's no way her hair is naturally that color and yet who cares] and running to the bathroom every fifteen minutes... there was a near miss accident type. So I went home before 2am. We luv Mad Madam H. Probably enough to make up for any day shifters who do not. Anyway. Went home. Spent awhile hating being a girl and cursing karma [she who mocks certain people for years on end is bound to get a karmic kick in the ass, I suppose], and then doing laundry, which also involved hating being a girl.
[This is me trying to be kind and not gross myself out by dancing around in circles]
So, to keep myself awake I decided to sort through my giant pile of tapes to try and find out what episodes of DH and Lost I have. Having only seen two episodes of DH and none of Lost, I figured a dead weekend would be the way to kill time. You know, since I can't lug a DVD player up to my room and watch Wonderfalls. *cries* Had a system down too. I gathered my tapes, piled them in two piles and had room set aside for "Labeled already" and "Freshly labeled". I'd pop a tape in, rewind, and watch whatever was on Nick at Nite [Murphy Brown!] or Disney. Press play, find out what episode of Lost or DH it was [everything else was noted, like Joan, but not episode wise.] Then I'd put a dot on my episode list when I was done, and rewind if it was full, or find the spot where I could tape if it wasn't. The second or third tape, I'd run to the bathroom while it was rewinding.
All was well until I came across a Scrubs I hadn't seen before. Thought I'd laugh myself to death [such a bad idea, but so worth it.] in the first couple of minutes. "I didn't know you were a lesbian." "I am in here." annnd "Stop! I do not have gay jungle fever!" And then just as I was all settled in to laugh and stop worrying about feeling ucky, I find out it's the one where JD's father died. Which made me super sad. John Ritter! *weeps* And I sniffled at the "For Our Friend" dedication at the end. Cuz I'm a sap.
Then watched SVU, cuz it was there. Weird. There was that dude from various TV shows, currently Phil of the Future [Disney] ... as the bad guy. Sort of. Dude!
So now I have a small pile of tapes to go through still, but Scrubs still own my soul, TV wise. Realized that after buying Charmed on DVD, my interest level remains low. Perhaps because it's the least interesting packaging job since HP3: POA? Perhaps.
Ugh. Dying. Expect pictures of Miss Fanatica soon. Otherwise I leave you to marvel at the relative Pullip-free zone. Commence with the marvel.
