headache descending

Assuming all went well, I just paid for my Cosmic Duo. Yay! Now if the phone company doesn't cut off my phone [please, please, please] the day will be perfect and it's only a little after 7am.

Now to make it through the next three days. *hums* I need to head off to bed very soon. Widget is here.

*dances* Payment for my Cosmics went through. Happy dance! Now to figure out possible names...

idiot of march

I'm tired, I'm cranky, and I really wish I'd get one of my shiny things in the mail soon. I got woken up a little before 5 by a frantic Mumsy. Seems asshole wasn't home and since there's a widget, someone had to watch him. So Mom makes as much noise as humanly possible leaving, and of course, the moment she's driven off, the kid wakes up.

I could have cried.

I didn't. Instead I watched Spongebob Squarepants, not my beloved Gilmore Girls. Woe! But while I can somehow manage to convince Widget that every commercial that comes on for MyScene and Bratz stuff is "Auntie Mar, Auntie Mar! You like? You want? I like. I get for you." I can't convince him to watch what I like in the way of TV shows. Now, if there were a MyScene or Bratz TV show, that he'd probably let me watch without a huge fit. :p

Have decided, officially, that I do not agree with the apparent popular opinion of the pullipdolls yahoo group. Their first order of business? Vote off all the dolls who aren't somehow generic. Adios, Noir [wow. she got some scathing comments, btw], get lost, Principessa [dude, even if I didn't love her something awful, I wouldn't say anything horrid about her. If any of them could come to life to kill you, it would be Princi. o_O]! Oi. And now they're all rallying around Carol after half of the people participating just tried to oust her for the nine billionth time. [Instead Purezza went.]

Which would be fab, only now they're taking out Alice. I need to rustle up some of my older toys. I think some of them had some fun sharp weapons. ;)

And now, a memory. I had a friend who couldn't spell to save her life, and as such couldn't really pronounce certain things anywhere near the ballpark of properly. While on the phone with her, she kept trying to tell us that it was the Ides of March. Only she kept saying the id-es. And, of course, not knowing how to speak "whahuh?" we kept looking at each other like, "What the hell?"

... Finally one of us looked at the calender and realized what she meant. Ides of March. Wheeee!

Now. I need to stare hungry-like at Mumsy and make sure she remembers that pancakes do not a dinner make.
