Oddly enough, I think the split from hearing it frequently has made it so I no longer cringe at the overly quoted bits.
It's weird how so much of your life can be wrapped up rather neatly in certain songs or bands. And then you just forget it all until you hear the songs again. You'd think I'd remember this because it happens every time I listen to a certain album, but nooooo. Maybe it's the magic of radio. Or maybe it's just how my brain's working this morning. Sometimes people who suck can gift you with good music. You just have to know enough not to share it with someone who tends to OD on music until you'd like to shoot yourself just to get away from them. :p
...Ooh. Blink182, pretty much mentally tied to two people I no longer speak to. Hmm. One I miss very much, the other I just miss. Go figure.
Lookit. Walgreens. Sesame Place. I kept meaning to mention that if for no other reason than I think of Jake whenever they play the ad and I pay any attention to it.
