Scrubs and Supernatural
Apr. 25th, 2006 02:46 amWell, I caught up on Supernatural. I hadn't realized I was four episodes behind, and so I devoted mostof my catch up time to it. And two episodes of Scrubs, but you cannot deny the power of Scrubs. You just can't. Which reminds me. ( Spoilers for Scrubs )
Back to Supernatural. I'm sure I'm supposed to mostly identify and sympathize/empathize with Sam, but I'll be damned if most episodes don't make me at least wince for Dean. Not because he can be an ass [that's a wince of a different kind] but because as much as Sam and Dad duke it out, they get the warm fuzzy moments and Dean? Dean's like the glorified babysitter you yell at when they ineveitibly screw up for half a second. Doesn't matter that Sam or Dad both screw up too, they're allowed to. Sam because it's expected since he's not even supposed to be here today and Daddy because he's as close to godlike as you'll ever see.
Aside from character issues, might I just say the freaky little girl from the picture was indeed super freaky? Yes, yes I might just say that. G'ah. Had I watched that last night, I'd never fall asleep. Ever. Creepy, creepy, creepy. The end of Hell House, btw, was nifty in a thoughtful sort of way.
Someone's coming to look at the fridge in the morning. Yay?
