In that I spent five minutes this morning glaring at some dude who obviously took something and did, in fact, go to great lengths to keep me from seeing his license plate.
Onward. You know how some books, particularly when you get to a certain part in a series, start giving you a cheat sheet at the begining of the book in the form of a cast of characters? Danse Macabre needs one of them. Who the blue fuck is Elinore? She seems interesting and all, but I'm drawing a blank.
Various other thoughts that have managed to flit through my head while reading: I do not like Nathanial. I don't remember having a problem with him before other than finding him a bit boring, but pretty much everytime he pops up I want to bitchslap him. Anita's influence is dangerous. [See Richard.] He's annoying! *rants* Especially considering it's like he picks the exact wrong thing to do at the wrong time, pisses someone off, and Anita's all, "whoa, lookit kitty's spine. Yummy!" Not, "Bad kitty, egging people on so that bad shit happens."
I still do not understand the giving the beast to someone else. I just... don't. I don't know if I missed something crucial or whether my brain has drawn the line in the sand and said, "no. This is the logic line and I have blurred it too much, you cannot go any further."
I'm tired of things being long, so long or anything, so anything. *head explodes*
But, say what you will about other things, there's always going to be something fascinating about child vampires.
However, at the same time, there will always be something incredibly annoying about one homophobic character bitching about another's homophobic ways. Pot, kettle. You're both black.
Annnnnnnnnd now my feet and I die. DIE.
Ow. Remind me I need new shoes.
And is it wrong that I'm thinking of planning which wedding present to buy a certain couple based on the gift bag(s) I want to use? I think it might be.
