Dolly talk
Jul. 31st, 2006 07:30 amEver since I deboxed Eternia, I've been thinking she needed a change. I'm still fairly certain that for as much as I love the Helena vid [mcr, yay] I'm not all that fond of that much pink/red eyeshadow used on people/dolls/anything. I think it could have worked on someone as pale as Rida, but on Eternia she just looked ill.
Until you take her wig off.
And then all my suspicions about E being totally evil? Confirmed. If/when the batteries for the camera charge, you'll see pictures. She's so cutely evil bald. So cute.
What possessed me to yank her hair off? I was on the phone and bored and I was taking her out of part of Frankie's outfit because it wasn't doint it for me and I wanted Ainsley to wear it. So she got Ainsley's outfit. But as she was sitting there, all nekkid and bothering me with the eyes/shadow/wig combo, I thought I can't do jack about the eyeshadow without probably destroying her eyebrows, and I sure as hell can't do anything about the eye shadow right. now. but I can move the wig. The second it flitted across my brain, I reached for the screw driver and pop! Off it went. Neatly, which was nice.
Unfortunately, the wig selection is rather scarce. And unlike Ainsley who looks nifty in most of the wigs available, E was a pain in my ass. Her own wig looks cuter pushed forward half an inch or so, so that the bangs touch her eyebrows instead of there being this gap that bugs me ever so much. The bright red wig that looks so loverly on Ains looks sick on E because of the eyes/the skin difference. The pretty hairstarr wig I love but still have no use for yet? Yeah, the no use has not changed. It's almost right on her, but not. Sigh. She looks cute but old in the short light brown one. I'm curious as to how she looks in the blonde, but I'm too lazy to pry it off MJ's not so shiny noggin. She's currently doing her Ainsley impression and looking sorta realistic.
Ains, on the other hand, looks incredibly different. Chaaaaaaarge batteries.
