Turn the TV on and pick a station, any station that'll mention it. [see, there's no point in picking something like TNT, y'know?] And they'll all tell you something radically different. *facepalm*
However, it all seems to boil down to Ernesto bitchslapping the coast Thursday evening sometime before I have to go to work. Considering people have said what happened in Florida was nothing to get all worked up over, I'm not exactly worried so much as I'm a bit fidgety. Not so much about the storm, but rather whether the powers that be are going to do the last time an actual storm hit. [Close the bridges I need, when I need them.] If they do, then I'll either not be able to go to work [oh, woe!] OR I'll be stuck there. And there is no effing way I'm getting stuck there. No. Way.
Yes. A tropical storm of some sort is pretty much guaranteed to hit us and I'm worried about being stuck at work.
If it makes you feel any better, I'm also worried it'll spawn a tornado which will rip through my house and I'll come home and find my stuff strewn all over the place.
Miles, the plush I ordered... Saturday? Friday? One of those. Yeah, he's impossible to track. They haven't updated since Sunday. I want my one eyed kitty and I want him now!
That single drop splattered and spread and was red, so red, so fresh.
For the love of Holly, would someone please electrocute her everytime she does the so, -whatever-, so -whatever- trick? I mean, yeah, bonus points for it not being in a sex scene, but still.
That aside, the new Merry stuff only sucks half so much as Anita, though it's twice as vexing considering there are some seriously stupid spelling mistakes. It's called spell check! Use it! Love it! It'll tell you you've invented new words, idiot. Now get someone to iron out the bumpy bits in your narrative and I'll take one of the pins out of my voodoo dolly.
