Jun. 11th, 2007 08:20 amToday I must travel to the north area so I can buy my Daddy socks. While I'm there, in holy sock territory, I shall also see if there are any pants or a fantabulous shirt that says "my daddy", though not literally, as I think he's outgrown such things. Then, while I'm out there, so as not to waste such an opportunity, I'm hoping to hit the Toys R Us, where I may, or may not find brightly colored shiny things.
I spent yesterday morning clearing out our laundry room, as it was on Dad's list of Father's Day gifts. Also, because the kitchen seemed a little daunting. And by a little, I mean I think it would be easier to just move. :P Zee laundry room took forever, although I did have time to bond a little with ADP, so I guess there's that. Threw some stuff out, listened to the boy bitch at the trash I chucked in the garage and not in the trash outside [a) I co-opted a bag and didn't know if it was actually trash, and none of the stuff I added would ruin anything in the bag, but I wasn't going to throw it away until I asked. Also, I had no shoes on to walk outside to throw the stuff in the cans. Seriously, summer is dangerously filled with stinging insects. I'm not going barefoot, kay?] and got rid of as much stuff as I could. The floor still needs to be mopped, and we seriously need another piece of furniture to go in the hallway, if only so I can move the niftier glasses there and thus free up some space above the washer/dryer. However, I don't have that kind of cash at the moment, so that'll have to be added to my list. Right near the top though, as it'd help with the kitchen issues as well.
I'm hungry, but I think I hear the sneaky sounds of a widget's footsteps. Hmm. Should go get dressed, find my money as well as my list, and oh yeah, smack www.savemyhusband.com with a trout. Fucking with my head like that.
