Wishlists are hard, man. Remind me to work on that some more come Sunday, kay? Though really, what more do I need? We got the mini army recruits, the cute stationary so the mini army can send out "welcome to our reign of terror" notes [as that's always polite], and Foster's on DVD. What more is there?
Yeah, I'm stumped, too. Which, I suppose, is why there's Amazon.
In case you wondered, it's really annoying to have worked your ass off for most of the previous six hours, only to realize that in all that time, someone didn't finish their stack of work, so naturally, you get to finish it. Six hours! No customers! And this happened twice. The first time was when I came back from lunch only to realize that despite saying, yeah, the whole cart needs to be done, they just piled stuff up in one corner, and I had to spend my last 20 minutes frantically trying to find all sorts of cosmetic crap.
And before I go, I gotta say that in bits and pieces, the Buffy S8 comics tend to be a bit... off. I'm hoping that when i go back and read through them in order, it'll be fab, but I'm not sure this is true. Annnnnnd the Supernatural comic? Art's still ugly. I gather that's sort of the point, but no. There's rough and dirty art, which I can accept, and then there's just "squint real hard and maybe you'll see a head. Or a leg. I'm really not sure", which the SN book is coming under. Admittedly, this is better than the stuff that looks fantastic at first glance, but after about two seconds [about the time it takes to read the page], you realize everything is off. Not intentionally, in an effort to force you either out of your comfort zone or to look for something else, but simply because it's crap.
I'm in a fantastic mood. Which is why I'm loving my icon and going to bed. Night!
