La. Reading some list of the saddest songs ever and we're to the reader's contributions and someone [many someones] mentioned The Christmas Shoes. I'm not all that fond of every song they've picked, but Christonastick, I hate that song. It was kinda cutely sad the first time, but every time thereafter, I feel like kicking someone. In the teeth and the crotch and maybe even the kneecaps just for good measure, ok?
That said, the readers list wins because I've heard of more of their stuff. :P And because I Can't Make You Love Me makes me cry every time I hear it. We don't count those times at work where I sort of block it out because to do otherwise would be to invite badness. Some people are pretty when they cry. I, alas, am not. Woe.
Considering I can barely see now, I should probably go to bed, eh? Yes. yes I should. With a stop off to get something to drink.
Okay, really going now. And also, if the people from MO would just get the books I sent them and mark it sent, I could order books and everyone would be HAPPY, damn it.
Also, why can't I be one of those people who can take something perfectly awful and make it sound like a fantastic life experience? I pout with the unfairness of it all. And this, I do believe, finishes my great icon avalanche. Yay?
