assorted blather
Oct. 8th, 2008 12:15 pmAlright. I have a vague plan of action for payday. I know which of Samantha's/Nellie's outfits/things I want, and while I cannot get at least two of the items this go round, at least I know that mostly I just want:
- Nellie and her book/accessories
- Nellie's Springtime Party Dress
- Sam's Middy dress
- Sam's School Set [her books and shtuff]
- Sam's bed
- Sam's desk
That last one I'm not actually too worried about getting. I want it, but it's last for a reason. When flipping through various ebay pages, I realized that the outfits I really wanted of Samantha's, her Middy outfit aside, I either had a sort of version [Mom made a version of her nightgown once], or they'd already been retired. :P
I know, I know. I should be more worried about, I dunno, other things. Bah. Maturity can kiss my ass.
In other news, I've still managed to keep Bob's room relatively clean. I swear, this weekend [possibly before] there with be photographic evidence, damn it! Except I'm a little worried that what I consider clean, most people would shriek in horror about. In fact, I've had that confirmed. Bother. Still, I moved the Bratz to the top of the long bookcase and realized that for the most part, I really like my small Bratz collection, and not just for the clothes they were forced to give Icy and then the DALs. Moved my Unicorn books as well as about half of the SVTwins books over to Bob where the DVDs used to be. Now I have to slowly sift through old magazines and either put the ones I want to keep away [in a box] or if they're special [hello my weakness for any Charmed actress on the cover of anything, or Lindsay Lohan or Angelina Jolie or the cast of Gossip Girl...] put them in the holder for that particular obsession. And then find a place for those. Oi. I really think I need a new bookcase. But where in the hell to put it? *ponders*
The cat has been kind about not puking and my ripping the keyboard apart seems to have failed to result in sticky keys. I was worried about the mute, but it seems okay.
Ari's birthday is coming up. Fast. I... have no idea what to get her, aside from gift cards. And if I go that route and she hasn't replied, do I go for Target because you can always get something good at Target, or do I go for Sephora because she love[s? d?] it so? Ah, the joys of having NFI what to get someone. Oh, sure, there are lots of things I *could* get, but sometimes you don't want to take a chance. You want to get something someone has been hoping for. Besides, unless otherwise stated, Christmas will be my hunting and gathering and like what you get thing this year. When you're broke, that tends to work out better.
Annnnnnnnd now I should sleep. But I probably won't just yet.
