TV roundup, fall 2010
Sep. 22nd, 2010 10:39 amLet's play TV roundup again. First up, Glee. There isn't a lot to say since it's not like a lot happened, although, I suppose it did. I still don't really care about Finn/Rachel as a couple, although I do like how Finn's handling her this season and that sounds awful, doesn't it? I think Lea should rethink the bangs but that might be just me. Despite knowing Mike/Tina was going to happen, my little 'shipper heart was ill prepared because sad Artie is sad. (Tina and Mike remain adorable, but I'm rooting for Artie/Tina. Sorry, Mike.)
I'm a bit iffy on how I feel about new people. On the one hand, it seems like, for the story, the club should have more people. On the other hand, dude, I liked Matt and that background character is gone and hey, it's really effing difficult to juggle all these characters without people getting the short end of the stick. So there's that.
Brittany clutching her Cheerio doll was adorable and I nearly snorted my soup as well as my pepsi numerous times, so it's still entertaining as hell. :D
Then I remembered I'd planned on trying Mike & Molly, and with it only being twenty minutes long, I figured what the heck. I like Mike and I like Molly. It being the pilot, I'll hope like hell they figure out a better mix for the jokes outside of those two because as it is, I didn't laugh all that much. I did, however, squee at M&M and the end was adorable. So it gets put back on the list for next week.
I'm trying to decide if I have enough interest in watching The Event right now. I'm curious, but I'm also tired. If Widget had a full day of school today, I'd just watch it and not think about it, unless it happened to suck. But he doesn't so... do I stay up and hang with him for an hour, or do I trust that he will wake my ass up when he gets home? *muse* I'm thinking that one.
