Irene's been upgraded to a category three. Great. The good news (for me), is that she's vearing off to the east enough that we should just get tropical storm fringe. Huzzah? Not sure. This is one of those situations where working overnight blows. On the one hand, less people. On the other, storms like this will be apparently hitting as I'm getting off work and I am not getting stuck on a freakin' island, even if they do think it's "just" tropical storm strength wind speeds. That still tends to be enough to close bridges, k?

So that's the good news. The bad news is that Donna is moving and this makes me sad. She's been saying it was likely, because her mom wants to move back west, but still. It makes me sad because I'll miss her. :/

Also, I'm not sure this doesn't kill my ability to go to see Cass because that's either her last weekend or her last weekend at work. So... new person will appear.
