Bye bye, money
Sep. 21st, 2012 01:16 pmIt's payday! Which means I ran right out and blew my money. But first I paid bills. I'm responsible, don'tcha know. Then I had Cass set up a Scentsy party for me since Halloween warmers aren't buying themselves. I'm looking forward to seeing whether mini Fright Night or Ghosts & Ghouls are as awesome as they seem. I'm a little :/ over the fact that she bought the same ones so we won't be able to oooh and ahhh over different ones but still! I also picked up a couple of the autumn-y scents. Hopefully this will be more like the last batch I ordered where everything was love and not the first batch I tried where I thought we would all die. :P
Target was on my list of things to do today. The Halloween section is about 85% done and it's beautiful. *starry eyed love* So beautiful I didn't realize how lovely it was until I took a step back. Originally my plan was to buy Cass one of those silver pumpkins from Tuesday Morning but then I found these awesome plates at Target and I realized I could buy her a bunch of those (microwave and dishwasher safe so she can't kill these as easily as her wedding plates!) and it would cost the same, plus I was guarenteed the plates while the pumpkins could have sold out. Also, practical but awesome. And then I had to buy myself a couple of them to eat my Candy Corn Oreos off of. Also, my Caramel Apple bread.
Then the dollar bins up front had a couple of glittery pails to add to my collection and a glittery Owl. Sadly the pumpkins this year are carved and I wasn't totally thrilled with their faces. Sigh. And the ones that aren't, while lovely, were a little pricey... plus I had to save money for my Scentsy binge. (Which was done after Target.)
Stopped at Taco Bell on the way home and I don't care if there's no nutritional value or what. It's tasty. Now I'm all sleepy and happy and I need to cuddle my kitty.
