Ooooh, shiny!
Dec. 21st, 2012 08:34 amThis is my holiday status update.
I ran out of money. (Ohnoes!) But I did so pretty much at the best time ever since I'd gotten a present or two for the following:
Mums, the Boy, Widget, Cass, Ari, and something small for K. Everyone else will get theirs either when I get my holiday pay (so mid January) or after the next paycheck, depending on who you are and what you're getting.
I mailed a couple of things to people previously and snuck in a surprise for another. Ideas, I have them. I just have no money. So, you're welcome. I'll be extending your holiday season and you don't have to clean for me, you don't have to buy me anything, all you have to do is accept your gift when it appears. ;)
Holiday cards for almost everyone who gave me their address have been sent. I'm looking at the last four or five that are family ones that require the boy's and Widget's names.
So... stalk your mailboxes if you didn't get one already.
At work, I sweet talked Mums into Revlon's Celestial F/X, Heavenly, and Ritzy.
My name is M and I have a glitter polish problem. Which I blame completely on my mother's love of shiny things, my best friend who is a makeup fiend (and so easily distracted by shiny things that for a solid month after she got engaged, you could distract her completely by having her move her left hand into the light. Any light.), and
luxken27.
I never stood a chance. :P
Also, new displays at work. NEW DISPLAYS. 25% off! (Employee discount day!) $1 coupons! Are you with me? You are! Not even my current dislike of two of Revlon's celeb faces can hold me back. (Halle, your actions are shady as hell, and I just don't like Olivia Wilde.) I tell myself that Halle doesn't really do the nailpolish stuff (here anyway?) and that I'm supporting Emma Stone, even if none of these came from an Emma display.
Now to figure out what to paint my nails for this holiday season... *muse*
Oh, and to figure out whether I'm braving holiday shopping with Widget. *twitch* So many people. SO MANY.
