Feb. 11th, 2013 06:53 amI need a chair that's high off the ground so I can hop up on it and swing my feet back and forth like a little kid. Ah well.
So Toy Fair had an explosion of ponies but I kind of tuned out after awhile because I need things more organized for me this morning. I went to bed super early yesterday because I had a headache so bad I couldn't fall asleep for ages. So I'd just lie there in pain every few seconds. Not fun. However it's mostly gone, but the total toy explosion that is the current Toy Fair picture lineup means my love is tempered by fear of kicking the hornet's nest that is my brain.
I can safely say that I will need the new little blind bag sized sets because glasses, and the TRU favs set will also be needed. There was a plush Rainbow Dash that looked cute, too.
MH alleviated the fears that Twyla would be mismatched in terms of colors between body and head (yay!) and that GiGi's scorpion creeps me the fuck out. I'm back to fearing 13 Wishes Lagoona but I think it's just that she'll be a bitch to photograph well without the colors going insane (looking at some of the pictures hurt my eyes) so I'll hush about that until they hit the street. Maybe. Onward! I spy a little plush type Frankie in the background so I'm wondering if they're relaunching them or what.
Oh. And the Music Festival dolls had their promos appear. We'll wait for me to link/share before I detail thoughts.
In other news, the pregnancy test scare went a little like this. I field a call about them and the voice sounds very young and then I realized I know her. It's entirely possible (probable and even hopeful) that I'm wrong and that it was someone else who just sounded like her or it was a prank or something, but I spent the whole night afraid I would see this very familiar girl (and I know full well she's thirteen) come in and I wouldn't know what to do. Thirteen! THIRTEEN.
But no one came in to buy a single test all night nor did I see her so... I'm hoping it was just one of those things where I am wrong and the universe is all the better for it.
I must now go check on people. Stuff to do, man. Stuff to do. Or naps to take. I'm really not sure.
