I might've just spent the last two hours going through binders of trading cards my brother and I collected when we were Widget's age (and then, for me, beyond). I'm keeping exactly three sets and a couple of cards from a few others. Mom goes through maybe half of them and at the end, she says ever so disgustedly, "Oh, look, another of the really cheap sets!"
Two of the three sets I kept? Are the really simple ones. :P No chrome, no canvas, no "metal" no holographics aside from rares/chase cards.
Also, I couldn't tell you why I had a set of any Spiderman cards. Marvel in general, yes. But I was always an X-Men (and their assorted spin-offs) fangirl and really didn't go after Spidey or the Avengers or anything beyond those yearly sets.
Weird. Back to packing!
