...argh. I've been awake for less than an hour and I've already had two things ping my annoyance meter:
1) Your =/= You're! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, GET THEM RIGHT. I'm willing to cut some slack on it being a one time thing because I know a lot of people are on tablets/phones/whatever and sometimes it's just a simple case of your brain moving too fast for your fingers and mistakes happen.
But when you do it back to back in the same post? And then you remind me that you're a parent? It makes me irrationally angry because odds are good you're going to take your kid down with you.
2) AG's tech people are clearly either completely incompetent or they're messing with their bosses because AG is having a 20% sale. Only almost nothing is actually ringing up on sale. Also, I'm cheesed because everything I bought when free shipping (which is paired with this sale, so it's actually a pretty good sale) is part of the sale. All the new LE outfits are included, as are most of the new things they released for spring. The only thing that isn't included that came out, that I've noticed so far, is Samantha's Gazebo. Oh, and Julie's new maxi dress of fug.
They also further marked down stuff in their clearance section, so if some of those things have been taunting you... well, maybe now they won't be priced too high?
Now, as you're tempted by this sale, I should warn you that by now, the rumors of Caroline being archived have reached an absolute fever pitch and I believe these rumors. Which makes me incredibly sad because I hate the thought of a three year shelf life for a historical doll and also because as much as I don't really care that much for the doll, I think Caroline Abbott is a really good character. In general but also especially for young girls. The Abbott women are strong but it's not a big deal, which in turn MAKES it a big deal. But I'll save this for the official archival announcement.
We will be getting a new girl this fall (did I post those book links?) and we'll also be getting a new girl next year, and the rumor mill has 1960's, Detroit with an extra helping of Motown.
