(no subject)

You ever have those dreams that aren't exactly nightmares but you wouldn't call them pleasant either? I just had one that would not end, even when I'd wake up to use the bathroom or because the cat fell asleep on my foot and then decided to dig all her claws in and then not let go.
Quick recap for future!me: At a hotel with Cass, zallia, my parents, and some other people that I knew in the ~dream~ but not in reality. The hotel's pretty weirdly nice, in that it's got a grocery store on one of the levels (not the whole level) and a pool that I spent forever trying to get back to, and there's some little shopping area that takes up an entire floor basically. Anyway, z and I are there for some doll contest and Cass has tagged along for possibly a mini vacation (with or without her husband, I don't recall). I lose track of her at the pool when I go off to take my bags to the suite I'm sharing with the parentals. I spend eons looking for their room and I wind up in a shouting match with some dick who works at the grocery store who gets mad when I walk by some plant in his department, touching it as I walk by because he won't move out of the way. No leaves or flowers or anything fall to the ground but he straight up calls me a fat bitch and I get upset. Eventually I get out of there and make my way to the elevators but of course they're possessed and weird and I don't know which floor Mom & Dad are on and that stresses me out.
(Side note: anyone else have dreams that involve the deceased and get super stressed, in the dream, when they can't find the other person, only to wake up and remember/realize oh yeaaaah, that's why?)
Eventually z and I, along with most of the other people in this competition, are running through the hotel trying to get to an elevator and then to the proper floor so we can make it on time to round one. We pass through the back part of a store where we find a bunch of discarded MH/EAH dolls (I remember Courtly showed up at least twice) and we all take a minute to go through the pile to see if we need/want any of them. Then there's finding some counterfeit money and we find the elevators. That have two doors (one in front, one on the side, weird) and there's a whole part where certain floors of the hotel are just straight up haunted and creepy and yeah. It was weird.
Eventually I just stopped trying to go back to sleep. :P



Let's see. Yesterday Tuesday I cleaned up a bit in the front hall area (yay) and took the holiday pictures of the AG army, sort of.
I considered taking pictures of everyone, and if you wanted to see the scary army all in one shot, let me know before I go and change people into either winter or pajama gear (both?) unless you'd rather see that, and then you should probably let me know that instead. I took pictures of the dolls that changed outfits this year, either the ones that weren't still wearing their holiday gear from last year (forgive me, girls!) or were wearing something different than what they normally wear (for instance, Nellie has been wearing the same outfit just about every holiday season since I got her. I think she wore her own holiday dress exactly once, but every other year she's in the Scarlett Snow outfit. It's been more than five years, I think you get the idea.) which meant I could be lazy. Really, really lazy.
Basically, it was the newer dolls or the ones who haven't yet found The One outfit (see Nellie again). Gotta crop things and then we'll share.

Goddammit.

And if you don't want to tear up, at least a little, avoid Emma Thompson's tribute because yeah. Sucker punch, right to the heart.
