movie review without a review
Mar. 12th, 2016 12:06 pmAnd in fluffier news: Whoever decided to try and label Jenny's Wedding a romcom at any stage after it was filmed (probably even halfway through filming) is a damn liar. The funniest part is the sister's weird fixation on her grass (...yes) and the rest revolves around Jenny's parents realizing maybe they kind of suck and that's why their favorite hid who she was for most of her life.
And if you go in expecting Jenny's Wedding to be less about Jenny or even her wedding, and more about this being the event that finally clears the air in the family... so lots of drama, it's fine.
But I really wanted that rom-com and more about the wedding.
Also, it's pretty bad when the chemistry between your romantic leads is only to be found in the non-speaking, background moments.
You let me down, movie. You promised me one thing and gave me another.
