Aug. 9th, 2016 10:14 amMight as well keep up with the random updates, eh?
I think I mentioned I was waiting on a pbs book to be shipped. Yeah, for the nine billionth time for this particular book it's been cancelled. I do have to say that the reason I was given was both kind of amazing and annoying all at once. If one is to believe them, the person who posted the book in the system also posted a crapton of other books and they all pinged people's request lists and they were inundated with "gimme!" requests. So they sent what they could afford and my request was just too far down the list. Guys, they totally sent out 30 books before slamming on the brakes, y'know?
It's a first, truly. Sigh. One day, little book. One day.
Let's see. On the TV front, The Fosters is currently at that point in a season when pretty much all of the plot threads are at stressful levels and this is probably why I tend to let episodes pile up til the finale. Otherwise I spend the whole episode hoping something will be resolved in a good way and there's usually only one or two sorta good things to go around while everything else is left up in the air for ~drama.~ They already did a family losing their house storyline (Wyatt's, and I'm positive I discussed this before. You could even convince me it was my last Fosters chatter) and even in the midst of chaos in everything else, the home they use is just... you can't.
You can set fire to various characters, you can set up a million boring 'ships, you can hit too close to home in a million ways but I kinda need the house to remain a constant. It's small and stupid but there you go. It's one of the few lines I have drawn. So I'm hoping for a last minute save.
I feel like the only person watching Guilt and I get why no one else is admitting it, but I'm enjoying it for the trash that it is. So anyone else want to step forward in this fairly private arena and throw out theories on who killed Molly? Was it Prince Theo, or was he merely holding the knife after his bodyguard did the deed? That's who my money is on, btw. You get the prince to go off on the one person he's trusted with everything in his life and it makes sense, all things considered. I do have to say, I don't really care if Theo did it or not as he's just so over the top creepy that I've more than lost interest in him. The list of characters I like on this show is so very small but I like them enough, and feel like I'm supposed to dislike so many, that I enjoy myself. It's very weird and very much not how I normally watch my shows.
I'm not really sure how they'll do another season (have they been picked up? Freeform/ABC Fam is so weird about their shows, so I never know) because they swore they'd reveal Molly's killer in the first part of the season. Which is wrapping up now soooooooo...
I think the Zzzquil has kicked in so I'm gonna go sleep.
